Join TOTAL TOURS on a relaxed one hour Scenic Tour stopping for photos. Hear some of the local history and lifestyle stories. Be wowed at the view from the Waitangi Golf Club lookout, seeing the beautiful islands of the Bay. Travel through native bush and farmland stopping at the unique horseshoe Haruru Waterfall, highlights of the Paihia Village which include the Historic Stone Church and pristine beaches.
Return to Paihia Village for shopping, exploring or to catch your shuttle bus.

Heading to Kerikeri the citrus capital of NZ passing by native bush, forest plantations and beef, sheep & dairy farms.
A visit to the workshop of Romeyn Woodcrafts a family business : showcasing housewares : boards, table mats, coasters, pens, puzzles etc made from native NZ timber: including Kauri one of the world’s mightiest trees, growing to over 50mtrs tall, with trunk girths up to 16mtrs, and living for over 2,000 years.
On to the Honey Shop: tasting honey including NZ’s famous manuka honey, hear about our local bush area and conservation program or ask about the bee hive tour option.
Down to the Historic Stone Store Mission Station by the Kerikeri River. Visit NZ’s oldest buildings : Kemp House and the Stone Store – offering a range of 1800’s authentic goods and a quirky range of uniquely New Zealand souvenirs. Embrace the beauty of this area & the birds that make it their home while hearing about the Maori & European history.
Marsden Estate for wine tasting & lunch (at your own cost). Known for the relaxed atmosphere of its courtyard dining space overlooking the lake and vines, with innovative cuisine that showcases the unique flavours of the region.
After lunch we visit Makana Confections Chocolate factory – offering a sample of their hand-made quality confections using only natural ingredients. See the chocolates being made through the glass wall. Also offering Italian Gelato tastings at their cafe : maybe get one to go.
Next door venture into the Kauri Workshop & Gifts.
We return via unique Haruru Falls & the Waitangi lookout – with spectacular views of ships & the islands of the Bay.
Option to drop off at the tender wharf or Paihia Village should you wish to explore further on foot, before catching one of the shuttles back to the tender boat.
GLOW WORM CAVE SCENIC TOUR

Sit back & enjoy a scenic drive through native bush & farmland with commentary from your local driver.
Arriving at the Glow Worm Cave : You will be welcomed by incredible rock formations and lush green rain-forest.
Greeted by family members for your guided tour through the cave, you’ll be wowed by thousands of glow worms surrounded by breath taking stalactites and stalagmites and be amazed by one of New Zealand’s natural wonders. Learn about the life cycle of the Glow Worm & hear the family stories & history.
We return to Paihia via the Port of Opua, passing beaches & historic places.
